Natural Cure for Herpes by Dr David Hoggs

Dr David HoggsListen to what Dr David Hoggs said about suffering from herpes: –

Imagine how you’d feel if you never again had to:

  • Run from new relationships like a scared mouse hiding in the corner;
  • Avoid sex with your partner as if you’d suddenly taken vows of celibacy;
  • Endure the side effects of prescription drugs and still have surprise outbreaks…

The Truth about anti-viral drugs and herpes: Drugs can help control the herpes virus… sort of

You see, these traditional medications work by controlling a very specific phase of the virus’ life. Maybe the herpes can’t locate a cell that’ll let them live inside (viruses need to live within cells – they’re like parasites that way) for example.

Problem is, the herpes virus is quick to adapt… meaning that over time, the drugs lose their power. You start having more and more flare-ups as your own personal genital herpes morphs into a drug-resistant super-herpes.

Drugs cause side effects. Even when they do keep that genital herpes somewhat in control, how sexy can you be if you have to (for example) keep vomiting?

Sort of like, “Uh, honey – you’re really hot right now, but I gotta go throw up.”

Other side effects are equally as inconvenient, if not even more serious: dizziness, rash, confusion (“Ummm, why are we in bed and the sun’s shining?”), kidney problems, even seizures and coma.

Drugsare expensive. It’s a whole lot more fun to take your beloved out for a good meal, then a loving roll in the hay together afterwards than it is to pay to pop those pricey anti-herpes pills.

Drugs rob your body of vitamins, minerals and other nutrients. Lowered resistance = less energy, more sickness. Trade your herpes outbreaks for bouts of flu and frequent colds? Ugh. There’s nothing sexy about coughing up gooey gross crud.

No, drugs are far from the ideal answer.

Over the years, Dr David Hoggs has developed an all-natural program – that does not include drugs! – that teaches people how to create a lifestyle that in some instances is better than when you were limited by genital herpes.

Many patients have benefited from his Stop Herpes Now program.

But there’s a difference between my patients and his online patients: His patients pay him $180 per hour for visiting him.

You can download his program for a one-time price of US$49.95. Talk about saving! But this is JUST AN INTRODUCTORY price because he had just updated it, incorporating even more refinements.

Eran Katz’s Super Memory Power

EranKatz, the Guinness Book of Record Holder for Best Memory said we might not remember everything, however, we can remember everything we chose to remember.

People forgets – not because they are getting old and senile – it is more likely that they did not use, and train, their brains enough to retain all the information.

Eran Katz got himself into the Israeli Guinness Book of Record because he could recite a string of 500 numbers from front to back and then back to front!

Until today, this memory stunt record has not been beaten. We might not be able to see how he did that 500-number stunt, however, you can check out his memory stunt demonstration at the Brain Education Conference at the United Nations.

If you like to strengthen your brain power and pick up a few useful memory techniques to improve the quality of your life – from healthier and happier relationship with folks around you to remembering procedures and processes, faces and names to improve work life and possibly your salary – check out his coming seminars in Singapore.  The Super Memory Power Seminar and The Nobel Prize Brain Workshop will be great for you while the The Super Student Success Seminar will be better for your young ones. Go  enjoy your summer holiday in Singapore and learn something that helps you get healthier, happier and possibly richer seems like a good deal.

Should You Tell Your Date That You Have Herpes?

By Savannah Francis

So you’ve been single with herpes for a little while, none of your friends are aware of the fact that you have herpes – but insist that it’s time for you to get out and start dating again. Being the caring friends that they are, they set you up on a blind date. Now in your mind, this is the worst thing that could possibly happen – however you decide to go on this date anyway as to not embarrass your friends. The date seems to be progressing well, but now you are faced with one question – should you tell your date that you have herpes?

First, let’s get a few herpes facts out of the way:

1. Herpes is spread through skin to skin contact, this includes kissing as well. If you have herpes of the mouth, you can spread it by kissing.

2. Herpes can be spread even when you show no outward signs of an outbreak.

3. Herpes of the mouth can be transmitted to the genitals during oral sex.

Now that you have been reminded of how herpes is spread, let’s answer the question of how and if you should tell your date. Although the herpes virus poses no threat to life, the disease is still very much misunderstood and demonized. Herpes is often the butt of the joke amongst the younger generations and this can make disclosing your status very uncomfortable. Unless and until you are very comfortable with the fact that you have herpes, it is not necessary to out yourself on the first date.

Before you consider telling a potential new partner about your herpes status there are a few things that you may want to think about:

1. Trust: Can you trust this person? No matter how comfortable you are with your herpes situation, not everyone needs to know that you are infected with the virus. If you tell this person, can you trust that they will keep it in confidence and not try to humiliate you amongst mutual friends or strangers?

2. Is there a future: Even though it’s just a first date, you have to ask yourself if you really see any future dates with this person. If you’re pretty certain that there won’t be any more dates, then save yourself the trouble. However if you believe there will be multiple dates afterward know that you will eventually need to tell your new friend about your oral or genital herpes.

Not every date leads to a relationship or intimacy, so you should not feel compelled to talk about herpes until you have really confirmed whether or not there is any long term potential. If the idea of dating outside of the herpes community scares you – there are dozens of online herpes dating sites available. Visit herpes dating advice today for more tips.

Dating Someone With Herpes – The Issue of Awareness and Ignorance

By Andy Clerk

Dating someone with herpes might be a little off particularly to those who do not have herpes at all. But how do you exactly know if you have herpes or not? According to studies, almost 90% of herpes infected individuals do not exactly have the awareness that they already incurred the disease. Since mild herpes do not actually have symptoms, unless the outbreak comes out or you have yourself tested, this will be the only time you will know you have one.

As herpes can be transmitted in many different ways, the big question falls on this? “Is it safe to date someone with herpes”? In actual fact, dating someone with herpes requires the identification of the severity of the disease itself. Although it is awkward to ask someone concerning this type of infection, a thin line between taking heed and curing herpes and those people that do not provide treatments at all will all determine the disparities.

If someone you are dating has herpes for a long period of time and is undergoing medical treatments, doing the deed with a protection will somehow make a difference weigh against sleeping with someone who doesn’t have an inkling of having herpes and definitely is not doing anything to cure it.

Dating someone with herpes need not be a big issue. Even if this disease is tagged along with a dim-witted stigma for it being a form of a sexually transmitted disease, do you think you have laid yourself open to greater risk without the discernment between sleeping with a person curing herpes and the one who have unconsciously acquired the disease without providing any treatments at all? You choose.

Panic Away a Panic Attack

I have a relative who was once plagued by panic attack. All I knew was she had to see a psychiatrist for years and popped many, many expensive pills before she was considered “healed”.  When I chanced upon The Linden Method!, curiosity led me to read not only the information but also the feedback of its fans and supporters.

For the benefits of the health conscious community here, I also have extracted some salient information from Panic Away on panic or anxiety attack.

There is one key factor that makes the difference between those who fully eliminate panic attacks from their lives and those who do not. The key ingredient is not medication, lifestyle changes, or relaxation exercises. It is when the individual no longer fears the thought of having a panic attack.

This may seem like a simplified and obvious observation but give it careful consideration. The one thing that has you searching for a solution to anxiety and panic attacks this very moment is the fear of having another one.

The first time a person experiences a panic attack it can feel like their world is falling down around them. Nowhere feels safe as the anxiety becomes like a stalker lurking in the background.

When this happens people begin to either avoid situations that make them anxious or they medicate themselves to the point where they are numb to the fear. I am sure you will agree neither of the above is a satisfactory solution.

You are probably well aware that a panic attack is a ‘fight or flight’ response to a perceived threat. The reason the human brain responds like this goes back to our prehistoric past where humans needed their bodies to respond quickly to a perceived physical threat. What this new research is telling us, is that people’s mental activity during a panic attack is suddenly moving to the mid brain, resulting in the heightened state of fear and panic. In short, a separate part of your brain becomes more active during a panic attack.

The key to being panic attack free is to to break the fear of having another panic attack.  If you know someone suffering from panic attack, share the information with them. If they are not in the position to help themselves, get their caregivers to read it. I wish I knew this information some years back.

Coffee Drinkers Liess Likely to Get Dementia

A study published in The Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease suggests that coffee may keep dementia at bay.

A team of Swedish and Danish researchers tracked coffee consumption in a group of 1,409 middle aged men and women for an average of 21 years During that that time ,61 participants developed dementia and 48 had Alzheimer’s Disease.

After considering numerous socio-economic and health factors, including high cholesterol and high blood pressure, the scientists found that those who drank 3 – 5 cups of coffee daily were 65% less likely to have dementia, compared to those who drank 2 cups or less.

However, Dr Mila Kivipelto, an associate professor of neurology at the Karolinka Institute in Stockholm said there’s no evidence that for people who are not drinking coffee, taking up coffee will have preventive effect.

Should You Choose A Good Day to Stop Smoking?

Should you choose to quit smoking on a special day – like Valentine’s Day, on a Friday, or the 4th July? There is honestly no hard and fast rule, but, if you had tried stopping on a special day like this, and failed, please reconsider.

The main problem with selecting a special day is that you may not really be ready to quit on that day or worse, not ready to stop at all. You know you should be quitting smoking, but deep insider you, you really don’t have the desire to stop. Because you know to kick the addictive habit is no stroll in a park. It is hard and we human beings always tend to avoid pain at all cost.

The truth is if you are not ready, then don’t bother because your chances of success will be slim.

Rather than stop smoking on a special day, select a day that’s going to workfor you.

To illustrate, there will be some days when you smoke more than other days. So, if you smoke excessively on Monday, don’t pick Monday as the starting point. If you usually don’t smoke during weekends, pick a Saturday to quit smoking.

Any time is a good time to quit smoking when you have the will. However, if you want the best chance of being successful, you;ll have to invest enough attention to your own requirement so that your chances to quit successful is higher. It is definitely not a good feeling nor a good start to stop a few days and then go back to smoke even more.

What’s the Cost to Quit Smoking?

If you smoke one pack a day, you will spend about $1192 a year.

If you puff 2.5 pack a day, the figure will rise to $2983 a year.

The research is done by Rick Beneteau.

Can you imagine what you can do with this money if you chose to stop smoking? However, many people also have to spend money to quit smoking.

Rick Beneteau said the following is the amount of money a smoker could spend on another attempt at “chemical” quitting:

1. Quit Smoking programs range from free to $1,000.00’s. Most fail. Miserably.

2. A Nicotrol Inhaler will cost you approx. $509.88.

3. Three months of chewing Nicorettes will cost you approx. $337.50.

4. Seven  weeks of swallowing Zyban pills will cost you anywhere from $160.08 to $300.00+ depending on where you purchase.

5. Three  months of “withdrawal munchies” (with other programs) will add at least $700.00 to your grocery bill.

Food Addictions are Bad for Health

1. Junk Food Addiction

Research has found that the brains of people who have a special craving or obsession with junk food  look similar to those of drug addicts.  They have fewer receptors for dopamine, which governs the brain’s pleasure centers. These  people might need to consume more of pleasurable, aka junk, food, to feel good.

2. Fat Addiction

People with a fat addiction are attracted to high-fat foods like dairy products and oily fast food like french fries and onion rings. According to research, this, unfortunately, is  a biochemical issue. It is not a case of a person lacking the will power to resist. Consuming fat affects the body’s brain chemistry, in much the same way as when alcohol or drugs are ingested.

3. Sugar Addiction

This is a little uncommon. However, there are indeed folks who felt high or  experienced a “sugar rush” after eating sweet stuff. There is scientific evidence to prove  that ingesting substantial sweet food or drinks  will affects the levels of dopamine, a neurotransmitter, in the brain. Without a regular and consistent supply of sugar, these folks will go through withdrawal symptoms too.

4. Caffeine Addiction

Caffeine is a socially acceptable addiction. However, that does not mean it is okay to have it . When anything becomes an addiction, it’s no good. Anyone who tried to adopt the  “cold turkey” way to eliminate  caffeine from his/her system will experience  withdrawal symptoms from irritability, headaches or even  fatigue and anxiety. These symptoms may take 7 days or more to go of . Some people might not have the will power to withstand the discomfort and choose to start drinking caffeinated beverages.

5. Chocolate Addiction

When we  are enjoying sucking and chewing on chocolates, our bodies release  serotonin. Serotonin produces a feeling of well-being. This may explain why we always celebrate with chocolate or to console ourselves to feel good again.  Of course, chocolate addiction might bring on dental problem.

When we over-consume anything and it becomes addiction, it’s no good – emotionally, physically and spiritually. When it comes to food, take a balance meal. Eat your cakes, have your chocolate but in moderation. P.S. Taraak, a Longivity Coach, who contributes articles here swears by sprouts, while others like Frederic Paternaude believes raw food is the way to healthy eating. There’s no right or wrong, you just have to choose a suitable way that fits your lifestyle. Whatever it is, more greens is good.

Life goes on for Celebrities with Herpes

Herpes is a taboo for many people who is suffering from it. Many chose to hide themselves far from the madding crowd, distancing themselves from their loved ones and closing their hearts to making new friends. The singles were especially affected. They lived in a shattered world, believing that they will forever live a single life, with no friends or life partner.

Must it be so?

It is interesting and inspiring to note that life goes on for celebrities who have herpes. Just look at David Beckham, who was alleged to have herpes. if he did, he is still making headlines everywhere he goes, even though his halo effect seems to have dimmed quite a bit. Still, he is still making good money endorsing product besides kicking balls, and often seen dressed to the nine with that glamorous wife of his. That should be the way for all people with herpes. There is still life after herpes. LIFE GOES ON.

If you or someone whom you know have been keeping your own company and don’t know how to start a life because of herpes, don’t dismay. One quick solution, which I believed might also be the easiest way, is to get to know people who are in the same boat. An understanding friend who know your inconvenience and suffering is an excellent aid to help you rebuild life. Just think of the things you’re missing out if you go on victimizing yourself. Usually your doctor and medical adviser will recommend you to join as upport group.  If not, go online and find a herpes support group that suits you.

Live life to the fullest, don’t let a disease dis-ease you,

Lack of Sleep Can Mean Heart Problems

It is now proven that lack of sleep can lead to heart diseases.

According to the December issue of Journal of the American Medical Association, people who get 5 -7 hours of sleep nightly are almost twice as likely to develop early signs of blood vessel damage as those who get more rest. The research is led by Diane Lauderdale, an epodemiologist at the University of Chicago. The study involved 495 people aged 35 – 47 who did not have existing heart damage to see whether a lack of sleep might be a contributing factor to heart diseases.

The largest group of subjects received 5-7 hours of sleep a night. Over the 5 years of study, about 11% developed calcified arteries. With less than 5 hours of nightly sleep, the danger rose starkly with 27% developing blood vessel calcification during the study. In contrast, only 6% of those who received more than 7 hours of sleep showed signs of heart damage at the end of the study.

Earlier studies had shown that lack of sleep may contribute to obesity and diabetes.

Heart disease often occurs only after years of damage to the blood vessels that surround and support the cardiac muscle. A key step in the damage occurs when deposits of calcium build up on blood vessel wall, setting the stage for the growth of plaque laden with fat, clotted blood and immune cells.

Even Slightly Overweight Can Cause Heart Failure

We know obesity can cause people to have heart problems.

However, the latest finding who tracked the health of 21,094 male doctors for 2 decades confirmed that even those who were only modestly overweight had a higher risk.

In men who are 1.8m tall, for every 3.2 kg of excess body weight, their risk of heart failure rose on average by 11% over the next 2 years. This is reported in the journal, Circulation, by Reuters.

The average age of the men at the outset of the Physicians’ Health Studies was 53. During the study, 1109 of them developed heart failure.

Overall the risk of heart failure increased by 180% in men who met the definition of obesity according to their body mass index (BMI of 30 and higher) and by 49 % in men who met the definition of overweight (a BMI of 25-30)

So if you are even slightly over weight, you might want to change your diet and maintain a optimal weight. Eating more meals with smaller portions will help.  If you are grossly over weight, change diet, exercise and if necessary get professional help.

Smoking goes Up when the Economy goes Down

You would have thought that when the economy is experiencing a downturn, smokers would smoke less to make sure they still can buy some bacon home.

Nope. The opposite is likely to happen for many smokers. Instead of smoking less, they actually puff even faster and harder.

Mindful of escalating prices, increasingly worries about losing job or suffering a pay cut plus the uncertainties of the future brought forth tremendous pressure, stress, frustration, anger, feeling of hopelessness and helplessness. Where can they get help and whom they can look towards for a helping hand? Not many. Most people are in the same boat too. So instead of lamenting and complaining like before, smokers kept their silence and sought solace in the rings of smokes.

Is it solace they got? The smokers chose not to see that they are actually damaging their physical and financial health further by puffing more.

Smoking is bad for health, especially detrimental to the throat and lungs. Smokers knew it but chose to believe such illnesses only happen on other people, not them.

Smoking is also bad for the pocket, it studs out money that can be better utilized elsewhere. Smokers knew it too but they justified that cigarettes are their only indulgence in this hard time.

Assuming a bloke spent a mere USD5 smoking, he would use at least USD150 a month for this addiction. That could have been a week’s worth of petrol or groceries, or it could be a treat to the theater with a date or even some great books from Borders or a financial workshop on your bottom line.

I guess the above is just wishful thinking. I would have thought there are less shoppers this Christmas, instead we saw sales soaring on Boxing Days all over the world – from troubled USA, UK, Australia to the orients like Singapore and Hong Kong.  People still rush for retail therapy when they knew they should be more prudent in their expenditure. The shoppers justified by saying that they were saving more in the long run. Really?

I wish smokers are wise like my pal. This 32-year guy gave up smoking in November, and he found that he was USD450 richer.  The money he would have used for cigarettes, cigars, menthol sweets and whatnot went to dressing up his house and buying presents for his wife and three kids last Christmas. He did not become any richer, but his physical and financial bottom line did look a lot healthier!

Higher Risk of Getting PMS for Woman Smoker

According to Dr Elizabeth Bertone-Johnson of the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and her colleagues, smoking increases the risk of moderate to severe PMS and provides another reason for women especially adolescents and young women, not to smoke.

Smoking has been shown to affect levels of several different hormones and the handful of studies looking into PMS and smoking have suggested that women with the syndrome are more likely to be smokers.

These researchers looked at a subset of women who were PMS-free during the first 2 years of the study, comparing 1057 who did go on to develop PMS to 1968 who did not.

The women who were current smokers were 2.1 times more likely than non smokers to report PMS within 2 -4 years. Women who picked up smoking at a tender age had their risk increases.  Dr Bertone- Johnson said,

“Previous studies suggested that smoking may alter levels of oestrogen, progesterone, testosterone and other hormones, many of which may be involved in the development of PMS.”

“Some studies have found that smokers have shorter and more irregular menstrual cycles than non-smokers”

“Smoking may also lower levels of vitamin D in the body, which also may increase a woman’s risk of developing PMS”.
