Yesterday was the first time I bought alfalfa to mix with my salad. I was originally put off with the raw green smell but decided to experiment with lots of greens and fruits like apricot and raisins. This was all because I heard sprouts would aid in eczema and other skin related problems like acne. On top of all these, research has also shown that alfalfa, being an alkaline food, can help to reduce the amount of nicotine depleted in the urine, which in turn reduces cravings.
